Semrush Local manages your Google Business Profile and listings and tracks your map position. Base is £24.31 and Pro £48.62 a month per location, billed yearly, as shown on semrush.com/pricing/local on 13 October 2026. It is sold alongside the main plans, not instead of them.
The honest answer

What a small local business actually needs

Semrush is excellent for agencies and marketers: huge keyword and competitor data, site audits and, now, AI search tracking. If you have someone who will use it every week, it earns its price.
For an owner, most of it goes unused. A plumber or salon needs to know a handful of money searches, their map position, their reviews against rivals and whether AI names them. The rest is data with nobody to act on it.
The tool does not do the work. Semrush tells you what to fix; the pages, posts and listings still land on you or someone you pay.

How much does Semrush cost per month?

As of 13 October 2026, the SEO plan is £113 a month, Starter £161, Pro+ £242 and Advanced £444, or up to 17% less billed yearly. There is also a free plan and a seven-day free trial.

What happened to Semrush Pro, Guru and Business?

They no longer appear on Semrush’s pricing page. The current plans are SEO, Starter, Pro+, Advanced and Enterprise, checked 13 October 2026. Existing customers may still be on older plans.

Is there a free version of Semrush?

Yes. The free plan needs no card and gives a limited number of reports a day with one project. Semrush also offers a seven-day free trial of the paid plans.
